Welcome to Diane Southwell Jewellery Academy. We provide precious metal and gemstone setting tuition in a range of courses to suit everyone. Certificates of achievement are provided upon the completion of the course so you can proudly demonstrate your learned skills.
Courses are offered in daytime, evening and weekends.
Your tutor has 25 years experience in jewellery design and manufacture, a Diploma in gemmology and has operated a successful tutoring academy in South Australia since 2002 and is a guest lecturer nationally.
We extend our resources to include guest lecturers, to date including a gem setting expert and an enamellist, for unique, limited placement, setting courses. Preliminary courses are required to attend gem setting as soldering skills are necessary.
As a guide, we use sterling silver, titanium, 9ct, 18ct gold and gemstones in the courses.

Weekend workshops are held several times per year.
